Postdoctoral researcher: Human-AI interaction
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop interactive systems that help scientists collaborate effectively with AI. Our goal is to support scientific work, from analyzing data and making predictions to communicating findings across disciplines.
The position is funded by the INNOCORE program.
Compensation and employment conditions
- Annual personnel cost: KRW 90,000,000. This is the total personnel cost, including applicable taxes, statutory social insurance contributions (the four major social insurance programs), and employer contributions. It is not the amount paid directly to the researcher; take-home pay will be lower.
- Contract duration: The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of a multi-year extension.
- Start date: The anticipated start date is fall 2026. For applicants completing their Ph.D. later, the start date will be coordinated with degree completion.
Eligibility
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. within the past five years or expect to complete their Ph.D. by February 2027.
Applicants must have a strong background in building and evaluating interactive systems for human-computer interaction (HCI) research, with at least one publication at CHI, UIST, or a comparable premier HCI venue.
